AraabMuzik - Skrillex Remix (Live)

This is sweet. AraabMuzik really goes off... Even if you're not a dubstep fan, it's hard not to appreciate what this guy's doing here.

Duck Sauce - Big Bad Wolf (Dada Life Remix)

Dada Life dropped this remix just a few days ago. Definitely a different vibe from the original but I like it better.

Wolfgang Gartner - Shrunken Heads (Extended Mix)

Off his latest album which dropped about a week ago. Weekend In America has some very solid electro songs on it but this is my favorite.

Spitta.

Bout time I made a Curren$y post... It's safe to say that he's my favorite lyricist in the game right now and definitely one of the dopest. He's put out A LOT of mixtapes in his day and still continues to, along with albums. Below is a playlist of 50 of Curren$y's best songs, ranging from some of his first projects to his latest ones. No Wiz collabos, just straight Curren$y. Look out for his Mixtape, Puff Daddy with production by Chuck Inglish, hopefully dropping soon.

Kaskade - Turn It Down

Kaskade dropped this track sometime last week at ID festival. He's currently on tour and is playing October 28th and 29th at Roseland Ballroom in New York. This is the ID rip but hopefully a better quality sounding track will come out soon.

Frank Ocean - Swim Good x Novocane

Dope new video from easily one of my favorite songs on Nostalgia, Ultra(Frank Ocean's mixtape). I've gotta say, I'm a fan of both the song and video. NABIL, who directed this video outdid himself on this one. I really like the Japanese theme he plays with. Hope to see more vids like these in the future.

This video was released a while ago, but still remains to be one of my top favorite frank ocean videos. NABIL directed this one as well. This video has a much more chilled tone than the one up top, which is fitting for the song.

R.I.P. DJ MEHDI

Last night, French hip-hop/electro producer, DJ Mehdi (Mehdi Favéris-Essadi) died at the age of 34 after the roof of his home in Paris collapsed, when celebrating his birthday. Mehdi was a huge figure in the French electro scene and was signed to Ed-Banger, Busy-P's label. He was a great performer and worked with artists like Daft Punk to producers like Just Blaze. He will surely be missed.
Here's the video to his single, Signatune:

Who Dat Pt. 2 (Feat. SD & Childish Gambino)

Nice remix. 3 respectable artists. I don't know that much about SD but I'm always down to hear new tracks from J. Cole and Gambino, especially since we haven't heard that much from Donald lately. Cole World: The Sideline Story drops September 27th.

Global Deejays - Freakin' Out (Steve Wish Remix)

Solid lil Remix. I'm a fan of the builds, and the drops aren't bad. I think I'm pretty into this song because it reminds me a lot of Barbara Streisand... Anyway, download below.

DAMMIT CUDI

Kid Cudi recently stated that he's not doing his "A Man Named Scott" Mixtape anymore, which was supposed to drop sometime this summer, because he's gotta focus on his Wizard and MOTM3 albums. I've been waiting and I'm sure all of his fans have been waiting too for him to release another mixtape since when, 09?... I know Cudi's prob been busy between the acting, song writing, and soul searching but all I'm saying is that his next projects better blow my mind.

This is what Cudi wrote in his tumblr:

A Man Named Scott is scrapped everyone, I know its a bummer but ive just been too busy with this new album and thats where all my energy and focus is right now. I gotta work on what moves me creatively. After this im going straight to work on MOTM3 so dont trip. You’ll definately have the WIZARD album this year so no worries. Trust im working extra hard to make this shit as amazing as possible and get yall some new jams. Again, sorry for the late notice. I know youll understand, I hope you understand ha :)

OVOFEST 2011

Gotta hand it to Drizzy, for only the second year of this Toronto-based festival he had some pretty big names come through. Rick Ross and The Weeknd opened for him and throughout it he brought out Nas, J. Cole and Lil Wayne. Drake then proceeded by bringing Stevie Wonder to the stage. Swag. Definitely a show worth going to next year.

Alesso vs Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso - Together Nillionaire (MKC Reboot)

Too sick. Vocals from Together - Axwell & Ingrosso and the drop from Nillionaire - Alesso. Unfortunately, Axwell and Ingrosso aren't performing at Electric Zoo this year but Alesso is. DON'T miss this kid perform next sunday.

The Weeknd - Thursday (Mixtape)

The Weeknd's definitely one of my favorite new artists. He's a Toronto based artist who was picked up by Drake and kinda acts as his mentee. This mixtape really met my expectations. This matches his last project, without a doubt. Life of The Party is my favorite song on the tape and The Zone, which features Drake is also dope. Overall, I give it a 4.3/5. Download it.

Mac Miller - Frick Park Market (Video)

Dope new video from Mac Miller. This is the first single off the album Blue Slide Park. I feel like this song has the potential to have his career blow up. Cop the single on Itunes. Also, check out the video below to see what Donald Trump has to say about him.

Dynamite (Nicky Romero Remix) - Sidney Samson

BANGER right here. This is a great remix to an already good song. I really like the vocals from Tara McDonald - very catchy.

No One Believes Me (Prod. By Dot Da Genius) - KiD CuDi

New Cudder. This song is from the soundtrack of the new Fright Night movie. I wasn't too pumped about the whole Cudi going rock thing but this track isn't bad. If this is what Cudi's next album is going to sound like I definitely wouldn't mind. Give it a listen.

FLIGHLIFE SUMMER 2011 PLAYLIST

Although I hate to say it, summer is nearing it's end. With that said, I would like to dedicate this playlist to by far the best season of the year. 27 chill/vibe summer tracks of different variety that I've been bumping lately. Check out the cover and track list up top^. Click Here to download. Enjoy.

In The Kitchen (prod. by Chuck Inglish) - Asher Roth

This beat goes HARD. This is a new asher song with impressive production by Chuck Inglish. His raps are pretty cliche asher in this, but it's still dope. I like the chorus.

Otis - Jay-Z & Kanye West (Video)

This video dropped just yesterday and I've gotta say it's dope. Shout outs to Aziz Ansari, nonchalantly chilling in the decked out maybach. Go cop WTT on Itunes if you haven't yet! Hard copies go on sale today.
